We work with hybrid theatre and this play is about our wonderful world, love, our environment and how we can have a bright future when we use our imagination and follow our hearts. The hybrid theatre production involves groovy music, dancing, the narrator is a harmonica, it's without words, we serve drinks and edible flowers during the play and have a high degree of audience involvement, we use led lights everywhere to tell our story and also some smoke and a bomb with confetti.
Besides the harmonica player, the characters are a big led light screen acting as a screen of the computer of the characters Jack and Claire (who fall in love, have a family and go through a lot) and the computer who develops it's own mind... and, of course, the virus.

The pub goes all dark.
Claire enters the pub in the dark wearing illuminating clothes. She carries a basket and she feeds edible flowers to everyone in the pub.
Claire open a curtain (on the screen) and the sun shines in (spotlight).
Claire removes her skirt and set up a solar panel (glittering) made from her skirt.
The lights are back on in the pub.
The power is back on Jack's laptop (computer display shown on led light screen).
Claire goes to the bar.

About Elizabeth Thomsen (instigator of Cocktail of Life)

Elizabeth Thomsen was trained in the Danish and English film and TV industries, from clapper/loader to producer (DR, Nordisk Film, Thames TV, LWT, C4, Transworld Int., Pinewood Studios) as an apprentice and she worked as a freelance worker in film and TV for 15 years. She has also worked with theatre and musical performance in short periods.

Film and sculpture installation exhibited in 1997 at the Charlottenborg Arts Museum and Aarhus Arts Museum with artist Kirsten Dufour. For this exhibition she invented a "Praxinoscope": a very simple 35mm film projector for the exhibitions.

Elizabeth received £260.000 Danish government funding for her software innovation (1999-2000), which she implemented in a bank, she was engaged to create 2 total-media shows at Purbeck Artweeks 2014, and she taught “Coexistence” to 99 students at Summer Academies in London 2016 based on her own research and writing and a book by American school teacher Alfie Kohn.
On location with cinematographer Henning Bendtsen, shooting "The Paper Dove" (not online yet). Previously, Henning also worked for the Danish filmmaker icon Theodor Dreyer.
